Swindon Hub

Welcome to Swindon Hub, an accessible, friendly space run by the community, for the community.

Come and visit our affordable cafe, relax in our snug, read and share books in our book shop and browse items for sale from local retailers and upcycled furniture by Renew Men's Shed. We also have surplus stock items donated from shops for sale with profits going to Swindon Night Shelter.

We are building a calendar of regular events including a monthly craft market, weekly knitting circle and writers club as well as art workshops and regular music jams on the weekends.

We always need volunteers, so if you want to join us and help shape the future of communities in Swindon.

Our Vision, Goals & Values

The challenge

In the face of social inequality, economic decline and environmental crisis, we need to work together to make Swindon a thriving, sustainable town.

Our vision

To build a strong, cohesive and sustainable community with wellbeing for all at its heart.

We plan to achieve this by

Facilitating accessible spaces for groups and individuals to create, meet, work, play, discuss, learn and share resources.ย

Swindon Hub will

Empower, promote cooperation and build connections within the community to help make Swindon a better place for us all.

Progress sustainability and the environment by enabling community and environmental groups to come together to support and inspire each other.

Work to reduce or remove barriers that people may experience when using the space to ensure it is accessible, visible, inclusive and open to all.
